SBC Summit Rio

SBC Summit Rio is the Rio de Janeiro edition of SBC's event series and one of the two largest gatherings for the Brazilian market. The 2026 edition ran at Riocentro from 3 to 5 March, its third consecutive year.

For a supplier the value is concentration: operators, regulators and affiliates in the same building in the market that matters. For an operator it is the opposite — a compressed way to meet a shortlist of suppliers face to face before committing to a procurement cycle.

Conference agendas here have tracked the regulatory calendar closely, which makes the sessions a reasonable proxy for what the market is actually worried about in a given year. That is usually more useful than the exhibition floor.
